This We Believe

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for Doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (II Timothy 3:16, 17)

We Believe in one God who is infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes, and purpose, omniscient and omnipresent. We believe that he was revealed to us, Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration and comforting grace that never leaves those who trust Him. (I Corinthians 8:6, Ephesians 4:6, II Corinthians 5:19, Joel 2:28)

We believe that in Jesus Christ dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, for it pleased the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell. (Colossians 2:9, 1:19)

We Believe in water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and the receiving of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:38 and Acts 2:4)

We Believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. We believe that he ascended on High and has sent His Spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 1900 years ago and is still filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today. (John 3:16, Romans 6:1-7, Acts 2:14-17)

We believe that the time draweth near for the coming of the Lord to make a change in the present order of things, and at that time all righteous dead shall rise from the graves, and “we that are alive” and living holy before God shall be “caught up to meet the Lord in the air.” (Matthews 26:36, 42: Luke 17:20, 37; I Corinthians 15:51, 54 Philippians 3:20, 21; I Thessalonians 4:13-17).
